The award is given to the top contractors working for Georgia Power, Gulf Power, Alabama Power and Mississippi Power based on safety and performance. Each of you and your team on site worked very hard to earn this award. Spartan was presented this award from Mr. Ed Day, Executive VP and Ron Campbell VP of Generation. Jim Short accepted this award on behalf of Spartan.

December 10th, 2008 - Spartan and Heidi Smith Price, has been recognized as one of the 50th fastest growing women owned companies by WomenEntrepeneur.com.

August 23, 2008 - 4th annual Dennis Grogan Memorial Sporting Clays tournament, to benefit the United Way of Bartow County. Spartan Constructor employees helped raise over $50,000 dollars.
